About Edu Call Uganda

Discover our story, mission, vision, and core values that guide every step of our evolution.

Founded in 2023 in Uganda, Edu Call Uganda was born from a clear vision: to empower small-scale women farmers by providing them with opportunities to improve their productivity and economic independence.

Agriculture is the backbone of many rural communities in Uganda, yet many women farmers face significant challenges: limited access to quality seeds and inputs, lack of technical training, and difficulty reaching stable markets. Edu Call Uganda was created to address these essential needs.

Since its inception, the organization has implemented innovative programs, such as seed loans, agricultural training, and leadership initiatives. By working hand in hand with local partners and farming communities, we have already impacted hundreds of women, enabling them to improve their yields and access sustainable economic opportunities.

Our ambition is to continue growing, supporting more women farmers, and strengthening agricultural resilience in Uganda.

Edu Call Uganda is based on the principles of empowerment, sustainability, and innovation to help small-scale women farmers achieve economic independence and food security. The organization operates under the following core values:

Our Core Values

Sustainability

We prioritize environmentally friendly farming practices and sustainable financial models. Our goal is to promote long-term growth for farmers and their communities while preserving natural resources.

Quality

We are committed to providing the highest quality services and products to ensure the success of our beneficiaries. Quality is at the heart of everything we do, from seed selection to training women farmers.

Integrity

Transparency and honesty are the pillars of our work. We act ethically in all our interactions, ensuring that resources are used responsibly and our commitments are fulfilled.

Inclusivity

We believe in equal opportunities for all. Edu Call Uganda is dedicated to the inclusion of women in agriculture, ensuring equitable access to resources, training, and development opportunities.

Social Impact

We are focused on creating positive and lasting change in the lives of farmers and their communities. Every program we implement aims to improve productivity, economic independence, and food security while contributing to a more equitable society.

With the generous support of D-Prize, we successfully piloted our seed loan project last year. This initiative has already transformed the lives of many women farmers, enabling them to increase yields, improve household incomes, and enhance food security. Building on this success, we are now scaling our efforts to reach over 1,300 female small-scale farmers across Uganda, ensuring they have access to high-quality maize seeds, agricultural inputs, and market opportunities to sustain their farms and communities.
