The Issue

SheFarms Smart is a training and digital support program designed to equip female small-scale farmers with practical skills and mobile-based agricultural tools to improve their productivity and resilience. The program provides on-farm training combined with access to timely information through SMS, WhatsApp, videos and voice messages, covering topics such as weather forecasts, pest and disease alerts, planting tips, market prices, and climate-smart practices. By integrating digital literacy and local language support, we empower women to make informed farming decisions, stay connected to expert guidance, and reduce the knowledge gap in rural areas, ultimately enhancing yields, incomes, and long-term sustainability.
